Contests awards

With the thanks to JECS Trust for the donation of all these prizes, the CIEC 15 Scientific and Organizing Committees are proud to announce the winners of the "Young Scientists" speaker, poster and the "best scientific photo" contests:

Speaker contest  awards: 

1st         Erica Roitero  "Low temperature degradation of laser patterned zirconia (3Y-TZP)"

2nd        Jordi Seuba "Processing and properties of ceramics with structured porosity for Oxygen Transport Membranes"

3rd         Philipp Ninz "Ceramic substrates for laser induced selective metallization"

Poster contest  awards:    

1st          Erik Camposilvan "Direct-ink writing of high-strength dense ceramics"

2nd        Thomas Bonnal "A comparative study of different strategies to obtain quantitative chemical information from hyperspectral data based on the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscope (FTIR)"

3rd         Etienne Lachaud "Role of inclusions on the diffusion after spark-plasma sintering of Ce:YAG for optical applications"

Photo contest  award:    Malgorzata Marcinkowska "SEM image of biomimetic alumina/titanium composite obtained by SPS. Intermetallic phases were created during sintering. In the picture they resemble white brain-like structures."
